About Monica Milton Jewellery
Monica Milton has always had a passion for creating and started making jewellery in 2006. However her career took her in an opposite direction. Then in 2011 when she could no longer work the office job due to health, she decided to follow her heart and with the help of the Princes Trust in 2011 she launched Monica Milton Jewellery.
Working from her home studio, Monica designs and hand makes sterling silver and gold jewellery using traditional techniques. Her collections which are inspired by nature are available in different gemstones. Monica also creates one off unique pieces, these are designed around the gemstone itself, this can be the shape, markings or inclusions within the gemstone.
Monica also supplies various shops within the UK as far north as Elgin and as far south as Jersey.
Although Monica is mainly self taught, in 2014 she completed her Certificate in Gemmology with the Gem-A, she did go on to study her Diploma, however due to her health she couldn’t complete it. In 2020 during covid Monica studied with The Gemmological Institute of America and completed her Diploma in Applied Jewellery Professional and in 2023 she received her Cultured Pearl Specialist with Pearls As One – Cultured Pearl Association of America.
