About Monica Milton Jewellery
Monica has always had a love of gemstones and started making jewellery in 2006. When her health took a drastic change in 2010 the one thing that helped her cope with pain was being at her bench.
So in 2011 with the help of The Princes Trust and family, Monica Milton Jewellery was launched, with her focus on designing and hand making jewellery using traditional techniques.
Working from her home studio in Crossgates, Scotland. Monica designs unique sterling silver and gold jewellery incorporating semi-precious gemstones from around the world. Her inspiration comes from nature and the stunning historical sites and landmarks around Scotland.
Monica also designs and creates unique one off pieces which have been designed around the gemstone itself, or has been designed to a customers specific request using the customers old gold or silver.
In 2014 Monica received her Certificate in Gemmology from the Gemmological Association of Great Britain, and in 2020 she received her Diploma in Applied Jewellery Professional from the Gemological Institute of America.
Monica Milton Jewellery currently supplies 9 shops in the UK and 1 in the USA, she also sells direct and does bespoke work for customers who would like a special piece made.
